When looking to enlist a service provider for other areas of life, I look for professionals that want to build a rapport and a foundation of trust. I look at these people as extended family/community for my fur kid, like a nanny or a tutor or a therapist would be for a human child. It is important to me to find people that are like-hearted and share similar philosophies as I do. I am not looking to become close friends with these people, but I also won’t enlist someone that I wouldn’t want to share a meal with.
